Our Founders & Vision

Built by Managed Access experts
Designed for the future of Managed Access Programs

Maprium was founded on a simple observation: Managed Access has changed, but the technology supporting it has not.

What was once viewed as an operational process has evolved into a strategic capability that influences evidence generation, commercial readiness, market access, governance and patient access across the pharmaceutical industry.

Yet many organizations continue to manage global programs using spreadsheets, disconnected systems and manual/fragmented processes that were never designed to provide enterprise-wide visibility, governance or control.

We believe there has to be a better way.

Mission

Mission

Our mission is to help pharmaceutical companies transform Managed Access into a strategic enterprise capability.

We do this by providing the technology, governance and operational insight needed to plan, govern, execute and continuously improve Managed Access programs through one purpose-built platform.

Our goal is not simply to digitize existing processes.

It is to give organizations the visibility, control and confidence to scale Managed Access while retaining ownership of their operations, data and strategic direction.

Because better managed programs mean faster, safer and more equitable access for patients who can't wait.

Why We Created Maprium

Maprium was created by professionals who have spent decades designing, delivering and governing Managed Access programs for pharmaceutical companies around the world.

We've experienced first-hand the operational complexity that develops as programs expand across countries, products, vendors and regulatory environments.

We've seen organizations struggle with fragmented systems, inconsistent processes and limited oversight, making it difficult to deliver the governance and strategic insight that today's programs demand.

Creating a New Category

We believe Managed Access has outgrown the tools traditionally used to run it. As programs become increasingly strategic, organizations need more than manual processes, isolated databases or vendor-owned systems.

They need enterprise infrastructure.

That's why we're defining a new category: the Managed Access Operating System.

Maprium provides the foundation that enables pharmaceutical companies to coordinate programs across functions, partners and geographies while maintaining complete visibility, governance and control.

What We Believe

We believe
pharmaceutical companies Managed Access strategy should not be constrained by fragmented technology or disconnected operating models.

We believe
visibility drives better decisions.

We believe
pharmaceutical companies’ Managed Access strategy should not be constrained by fragmented technology or disconnected operating models.

We believe
visibility drives better decisions.

We believe
governance should be built into everyday operations rather than added retrospectively.

We believe
technology should simplify complexity, not create more of it.

And we believe the best software is built by people who truly understand the work it supports.

Our Difference

Our Difference

Unlike organizations whose expertise begins with software development, our expertise begins with Managed Access.

Technology is how we deliver our solution—not our starting point.

That distinction matters because every decision within the platform reflects decades of practical experience supporting pharmaceutical companies to deliver complex global programs safely, consistently and compliantly.

The result is a platform that mirrors the realities of Managed Access and helps organizations move from fragmented operations to strategic control.

Meet The Team

Behind Maprium is a team with extensive experience spanning Managed Access, Clinical Trials, pharmaceutical operations, supply chain, regulatory affairs, governance, healthcare technology and life sciences.

Together, we've helped shape some of the industry's most complex global Managed Access programs and are committed to helping pharmaceutical companies build the next generation of Managed Access capability.
